A fast 40 minute RIB ride from Newhaven to the Seven Sisters cliffs with classic rock anthems as the soundtrack, great views and plenty of fresh sea air. Family friendly for ages 4 and up, with departures most days throughout the season; booking required.
Seven Sisters Boat Tour - Newhaven
A 90 minute cruise from Newhaven Marina along the Sussex coast past Tide Mills, Seaford Bay, Splash Point, Hope Gap and Cuckmere Haven to the Seven Sisters cliffs, with tales of the area's smuggling past and wildlife spotting for seals, porpoises and seabirds. Weather permitting, passengers can swim beneath the cliffs. Up to 11 passengers on a luxury Italian RIB, ages 2 and up, bookable daily through 11 October.

Seven Sisters Sunset Cruise
An evening cruise from Newhaven Marina along the Sussex coastline past Seaford Bay to the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs, timed to coincide with sunset. The one-hour trip on a luxury RIB offers wildlife spotting for seals, porpoises, and seabirds, with guests welcome to bring drinks on board. Departure times vary through the season to track the changing sunset.

HIKE 22km Seven Sisters Coastal Chalk Cliffs
A guided 14 mile (22km) hike along the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs, starting from Seaford and following the South Downs Way past Cuckmere Haven, Birling Gap and Belle Tout Lighthouse to finish in Eastbourne. Graded intermediate to challenging with 580m of ascent and 5.5 to 6.5 hours of walking. The group meets at London Victoria at 08:20 and travels down by train, which is included in the price.
Seven Sisters Walk (IV Edition), Polish Tourist Group in London
The fourth edition of the Seven Sisters coastal walk run by Polska Grupa Turystyczno Krajoznawcza w Londynie (the Polish Tourism and Sightseeing Group in London). The group is private on Meetup, so the meeting point and full route details are visible to members after joining.

A strenuous linear Ramblers walk from Seaford Library to Eastbourne Pier via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head, with a picnic lunch stop at Birling Gap. One of a series of walks celebrating the opening of the King Charles III England Coast Path. Newcomers can join their first three walks free before Ramblers membership is required, and there are several points where the walk can be cut short for a bus back.

Local naturalist Michael Blencowe leads a wildlife survey of Martello Fields to discover what wildlife lives in apparently lifeless recreation grounds. Part of the Seaford Biodiversity Project, this is a hands-on outdoor session welcoming all ages.

Seaford Biodiversity Project: Bird Watching Walk with James Duncan
Part of the Seaford Biodiversity Project launch day. Join James Duncan of the Seaford Natural History Society for a short 2km stroll at Seaford Head Nature Reserve to observe resident birds and potential visiting species. Grassy paths that may be muddy after rain. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Gather near South Hill car park. No dogs permitted.
Seaford Biodiversity Project: Seashore Life with James Duncan
A launch event for the Seaford Biodiversity Project, celebrating the remarkable wildlife found along Seaford's coastline. Join naturalist James Duncan to discover evidence of sea life below the waves and observe the southerly Kittiwake colony on the cliffs if still present. The 2-hour session is suitable for all ages and under-18s are welcome with a parent or guardian. Doors open at 10:45am.
Seaford Biodiversity Project: Recording Nature
A practical outdoor session for beginners led by James Duncan using the iRecord app, teaching how to identify and record local wildlife. Participants should download the iRecord app in advance; suitable for under-18s when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Seaford, Litlington White Horse and Seaford Head Coastal Hike with Optional Swim
A panoramic 13 mile (20km) circular hike starting from Seaford railway station at 10:50, heading towards Newhaven then inland past Devils Rest Bottom with views of the Litlington White Horse, returning over Seaford Head with views across to the Seven Sisters. There may be a chance for a sea swim at Seaford at the end, followed by a pub stop. Also cross posted to the Escape London City Explorers and London Explorers Meetup groups, whose walkers travel down from London Victoria on the train arriving at Seaford at 10:48.

Outdooraholics' annual Big Summer Social, a larger and more sociable version of their most popular hike. The 15 mile (23km) route begins in Seaford by the Napoleonic Martello Tower and crosses the Seven Sisters cliffs with a cliff top group picnic, finishing with extra time in Eastbourne for the pier, beach, fish and chips and a pub stop.
