Free taster sessions in Lilian's Room at the Downs Leisure Centre, Monday to Saturday until the end of October, 9am to 4pm: an inclusive space offering accessible, low-impact exercise on specialist assisted equipment, including neuro-rehabilitation technology, to improve strength, balance and mobility. Part of East Sussex County Council's Full of Life programme for the over-50s. Step-free access and a hearing loop.

Join the frightful fun of Shriek Week at Drusillas this Halloween! A family-friendly, fun-filled and spooky Halloween week at Drusillas Park, between Brighton and Eastbourne, with oodles of eerie excitement and seasonal surprises to keep your little horrors half term happy. 24th October - 1st November 2026.

Composer P W Morton presents his album Tidelines with projected coastal imagery and live performances in the undercroft, while the gallery above shows ceramics by Liza Morton, glass by Adele Walshe, paintings by Emma Christopherson and Lisa Wooldridge, prints by Linda Lethem and pottery by Chris Ford. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
