Birling Gap, Cornish Farm Circular
A five and a half mile circular walk with SouthDowns Strollers starting outside The Tiger Inn in East Dean, climbing to Friston Church then heading down towards Birling Gap, along the cliffs and back via Cornish Farm and Birling Farm to East Dean. Total ascent around 812 ft, with no stiles but some steep hills, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. Toilets at the start and at Birling Gap, free car park and a bus stop nearby. Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink; there is a lunch stop part way round. Well-behaved dogs welcome, on a lead around livestock.
